Dentacare is a membership service that has been saving Australian’s money at the dentist since 1983. For under $100 per year, members receive a reduction to their dental fees from 5%-40%, just by visiting one of our Dentacare approved dentists that are located all across Australia.
Dentacare membership is simple, it reduces your dental costs without the high fees, restrictions, waiting, claiming and limitations that health funds impose.
As a Dentacare member you’ll have access to hundreds of participating dentists and dental specialists throughout Australia, ensuring that your smile is always covered.
How does Dentacare work?
- Join as a Dentacare member. For under $100 per year, sign up online and get single, couple, family or seniors cover in under 5 minutes.
- Receive your digital card or physical card at an additional cost.
- Go to a Dentacare dentist- find a Dentacare approved dentist via our website at dentacare.com.au . When making an appointment confirm that you are a Dentacare Member and that they accept Dentacare Members and provide Dentacare Fees.
- On arrival at your appointment show your Dentacare Membership and start saving!
What treatments are included?
Most general items! With Dentacare there are limited treatment exclusions, so you can save on most treatments at any Dentacare participating dentist. This includes minor, major and some cosmetic dental, as well as pre-existing conditions and orthodontics if they provide these procedures!
Does Dentacare cover existing or pre-diagnosed conditions?
Yes absolutely! There are no treatment exclusions with Dentacare as long as the Dentist provides those procedures.
How long before I’m covered with Dentacare?
After joining as a Dentacare member, you can use your card and save immediately on your dental care. There are absolutely no waiting periods so when signing up online, receipts, membership details, membership card and all necessary information will be sent to you via email within minutes.

What happens when I join Dentacare?
Once you join Dentacare you will be sent a welcome email with your membership details, additional information and a receipt. Once you receive this email, you can log onto your Dentacare account at dentacare.com.au and locate your membership card, which you can use immediately and each time you visit the dentist.
Can I claim from Dentacare after visiting my dentists?
Dentacare is a yearly membership by which you receive reduced fees from affiliated Dentacare dentists. Dentacare unlike Health Insurance companies does not provide claims or dental fee rebates. You receive your discount (savings) at the time of your visit to the dentist.
Can I join Dentacare if I have health insurance?
Yes absolutely! By becoming a Dentacare member, you can:
- Save on treatments that aren’t covered by your health insurance
- Continue to receive discounted dental fees even if you have reached your health insurance benefit limit
- Start saving immediately without any waiting periods with your health insurance
- If you have Private Health Insurance you’ll need to pay the Dentacare dentist upfront and then make a claim through your Private Health Insurance for a rebate. Most practices find it complicated to process both together through HICAPS or other claimable systems, so therefore you’ll need to make a separate claim via your Health Insurance.
How do I change my details?
To change your details such as payment, address or password, log into “My Account” on dentacare.com.au, sign in and click on “edit” to change the fields as required.
When will my Dentacare cover renew?
To ensure that you are always covered, your Dentacare cover will automatically renew yearly, unless we hear from you. You can find your next renewal date by logging into “My Account” and looking under the Membership Details section.
Will my benefits change when I renew?
No, as long as your Dentacare membership is active you will always receive 5%-40% off your dental fees at Dentacare dentists. However, Dental Fees are subject to change and we there recommend you visit the Dentacare site for confirmed fees prior to your treatment.

How do I cancel my Dentacare account?
Before you cancel your membership, please contact us at [email protected] and let us know if there is anything that we can do to better our service.
You can cancel your Dentacare membership by logging into “My Account” on dentacare.com.au. Under the membership details section, click on your subscription number and you will be directed to a page where you can cancel your membership.

How do I make an appointment with a Dentacare dentist?
Simply call a Dentacare dentist to make an appointment, contact details are available on our website. Don’t forget to tell them that you are a Dentacare Member and would like the Dentacare Rates. On arrival show your Dentacare membership at your appointment to save 5%-40% on your dental fees!
There are no Dentacare dentists near me?

How much will my treatment cost?
The total cost of your treatment will depend on the type of treatment you need. With Dentacare, you are guaranteed to save between 5%-40% of the regular dental fee for every treatment when you visit a Dentacare approved dentist.
