Question: What is Dentacare?
Dentacare is a way of reducing your dental health costs without the high fees, restrictions and limitations that health funds impose.

Dentacare commenced in 1983 in Victoria and has since grown from strength to strength and is now available in all capital cities and some country areas Australia-wide.

Question: Why should I join?
Members pay a special low yearly membership fee starting from only $38 for singles (senior card holders) and from $55 for couples/families (senior card holders), which entitles you and/or your family to immediate cover without any waiting or qualifying period. Please contact us for other single/couple/family membership fees.

Dentacare participating dentists agree to provide their services at the lower rates listed on the Dentacare fee schedule instead of their usual private practice fees.

Question: How does it work?
As soon as you join you receive:

    * a membership card (accepted Australia wide)
    * a list of the participating dentists
    * a schedule of fees for the current year
    * immediate access to Dentacare's reduced dental fees

Simply call to make an appointment with any one of our participating dentists and inform the receptionist that you are a current Dentacare member. On arrival, present your membership card and start saving immediately.

Question: Is Dentacare a health insurance provider?
No. Dentacare is a membership program that provides a range of dental health services to our members at a reduced rate. You pay for your dental work at lower prices and can even save up to 40% on some procedures.

Question: Does it cover existing or pre-diagnosed conditions?
Absolutely. There are no exceptions.

Question: How long before I'm covered?
Immediately. You can join up over the telephone and have your membership details provided to you with no delay. Receipts, membership details and additional information will also be immediately dispatched to you via mail.

Question: Are cosmetic procedures available?
Our members receive discounts on a wide range of cosmetic procedures, ideal for those of us who have put these kind of things off until the "time was right". You will find a range of procedures covered in your state.
